The "Betsy Ross Flag" is an early design of the American flag featuring 13 red and white stripes and 13 5 pointed stars arranged in a circle.  It is a symbol of defiance during the early stages of American  independence and represents the unity of the original 13 colonies.  Betsy Ross remains an enduring icon of American history and patriotism.

Each flag is constructed with Select Pine.  Union and stripes are carved and sanded then torched and stained to give it its rustic look.   Stars on small and medium flags are carved into Union.  Stars on Large and X-Large are raised stars.  Each flag is constructed with 4 backers on back of flag.  Each flag is given 4 coats of acrylic. 2 D-Rings are attached to back of flag for easy hanging. 

If flag is to be displayed outside, click on outdoor finish.  4 coats of spar urethane will be applied to all sides to protect from outdoor elements.
