Betsy Ross Flag

The "Betsy Ross Flag" is an early design of the American flag featuring 13 red and white stripes and 13 5 pointed stars arranged in a circle.  It is a symbol of defiance during the early stages of American  independence and represents the unity of the original 13 colonies.  Betsy Ross remains an enduring icon of American history and patriotism.

Each flag is constructed with Select Pine.  Union and stripes are carved and sanded then torched and stained to give it its rustic look.   Stars on union are carved not painted.  Each flag is constructed with 4 backers on back of flag.  Each flag is given 4 coats of acrylic. 2 hanging hooks are attached to back of flag for easy hanging. Each flag can be frameless or framed with 3/4" pine stained black.

If flag is to be displayed outside, 4 coats of spar urethane will be applied to all sides to protect from outdoor elements.
